摘要
In the present work was a documentary investigation about the situation presenting small and medium-sized Ecuadorian companies with regard to access to credit in order to its strengthening and expansion, as well as a structured interview that argue the same. To do so, it was taken as reference documentation and criteria of the employees and officials of the national Finance Corporation, represented in the province of El Oro, in particular in the city of Machala, that body is responsible for these matters in the country. The analysis showed that there are serious difficulties from these companies for a credit, due to different causes which include: deficient policies in the granting of credit and collection, inefficient operation of the enterprise, insufficient efforts of marketing, managers with poor training and business acumen as well as bad customer service. The essence of research demonstrated the need to revise the credit system that delivers that Corporation, in order to boost the development of the production of the country matrix and the levels of productive insertion of small and medium-sized enterprises.
