摘要：
A model for predicting the probability of recognizing the category of objects from their image irrespective of the physical principle of its formation is described. The model is based on the fundamental law of perception and on other regularities of solving perception-recognition problems; it takes into account the factors and parameters which determine the informativeness level of the image. The reliability of the prediction results is confirmed by the experimental data.
