摘要
This article is an advance theoretical underpinning the "Practice reading for students of Information Systems program, Library and Archives at the Universidad de La Salle" research, which seeks to identify reading practices and recognize their conception from three perspectives: social representations, cognitive actions and sense of ownership, and finally, a historical reconstruction of ancient practices, highlighting the role of the press as a hub for the democratization of knowledge. It exposes the theoretical view of schools of thought on reading and reading practices from the currents of thought of Roger Chartier, Alberto Manguel, Claudia Lemos Vovio, Alfredo Guerrero Tapia and the philosophical conception of Estanislao Zuleta. The final attempt of the research is to formulate teaching strategies to enhance the reading practices of students through playful and well reasoned exercises.
