摘要
This article is the result of research and academic experience of the author in the field of democratization of family relationships through the design and implementation of training processes in familiar democratization, which aim to promote tools in participants to develop awareness of gender stereotypes from which they relate. This training produces two impacts: (i) recognize the discomforts associated with abusive relationships that promote gender stereotypes; and (ii) produce collective knowledge to give new meaning to the concepts of gender and authority. To prevent family violence it is necessary to strengthen the search for new gender paradigms that tend towards democratizing family relations based on gender equality and justice among the members. The working methodology promotes dialogue and debate from participants about their own conflicts and situations of abuse and violence experienced in their families. Lastest inquiries and experiences allowed to make evident the importance of democratic coexistence develops in everyday interaction from the recognition and responsibility of people with for their own welfare and that of others.
