OCTONIONS, SELF-DUALITY AND STRINGS

摘要：
The low-energy heterotic string field equations are considered. Some new supersymmetric soliton-type solutions of these equations are constructed of the seven- and eight-dimensional octonionic instantons. The solutions describe a membrane and a string in ten-dimensional space-time.
