SOCIO-EMOTIONAL SKILLS: A Construction from the Use of Digital Media in a Public School

摘要
The present study aims at the study of how digital media can be used as aids in the development of social-emotional skills in the learner. The research was structured in a survey of bibliographical references, seeking to understand the contexts of learning in the school space that shape the different cognitive, social and emotional abilities. The methodology has a quantitative approach, as a data collection instrument was used a structured questionnaire, in order to obtain an analysis of the relation of use of digital media with the adolescents of the 9(a) year of Elementary School and 3(a) grade of the High School of the State School Diran Ramos do Amaral in the municipality of Mossoro. Seeking, therefore, the favoring of these media in the teaching-learning process of skills such as conscientiousness, self-control, collaboration, communication and curiosity. In the obtained results we verified the real possibility of potentialization of these abilities suggesting strategies that can be developed in the classroom through the different digital media. Among them, proposing the planning of situations with media use that activates the free participation and choice of more attractive materials, as well as activities with the use of the Internet that broadens, extends and enriches the construction of ideas and decision making of the students.
