A SYSTEM OF MIXED DEVICE-CIRCUIT MODELING FOR PERSONAL COMPUTERS

摘要
A system of mixed device-circuit modeling of IC elements and library cells, with its main algorithms, numerical methods, physical models used and organization, is presented. A numerically effective algorithm of mixed modeling which imposes no restrictions on the complexity of fragments analyzed is proposed. The main peculiarities of mixed modeling's practical realization are described. The realization of solving techniques developed has relatively small memory requirements and may be implemented on personal computers widely used in CAD. As an example some transient processes in n-MOS inverters and BiCMOS logic gates are calculated.
