摘要
A mathematical model of acid-base transport in a renal tubule is described. Solutions for validation and control simulations are given, and the model is used to show that in the thick ascending limb the NH3 permeability must be relatively small - on the order of 3 x 10(-3) cm/s - in order for the rat kidney to concentrate NH4+.
