摘要
Aims: To investigate current comorbid disorders in adolescent and young-adult cannabis users seeking treatment with polydrug users as controls. Methods: Patient records of 208 cannabis (74% dependent) and 150 polydrug users (81% dependent) who had been treated as outpatients in 2003 were analysed. Results: Cannabis and polydrug users did not differ significantly in age of onset, co-morbid disorders (predominantly affective, personality, and developmental disorders), or in the extent or outcome of treatment. Conclusions: In view of their co-morbid disorders, adolescent drug users seeking treatment should be provided with integrated treatment as the standard.
