Social Thought in The Renaissance Era

This paper focuses 011 the social thought of the Renaissance era, especially the characteristics, the style and the emergence of utopistic thought. Utopias, within the Renaissance era by orientiation to the antiquiety, came to the agenda and in this era, ideal city pictures which are the extension of the Platon's idealism have been improved significantly. In this context, utopias show the characteristics of the critisism of the existing social order and propose a new and a beter social order now and then. By the Utopias typical examples and the utopic thought related to these examples, this paper puts forward historical background of this style at the same time.
