Out & Allied: An Anthology of Performance Pieces is a collection of 34 youth-written monologues, short plays, and poems that highlight the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) individuals. The compilation provides royalty-free pieces accessible mainly for educational and community theater settings. The text also includes guidelines and suggestions for directing and producing theater for social change, a contact list for LGBTQ organization, information on gay-straight alliances, and a glossary of LGBTQ terms.
