摘要
The effect of the combined use of sulfur and tricresyl phosphate (TCP) in grinding oil on abrasive-belt performance was tested experimentally. The tests results show that the addition of TCP to grinding oil containing sulfur decreases metal removal in the case of SUS 444. In the case of SUS 430, however, TCP exerts a synergistic effect on metal removal in a range of comparatively low sulfur concentration, but, above an optimum concentration of 0. 4 wt%S, metal removal decreases with TCP additions.
