Perindopril/indapamide combination in the treatment of hypertension

摘要：
The recent epidemiological study has shown that although the control of hypertension in Poland has improved during last years still overwhelming majority of hypertensives have their blood pressure over the value of 140/90 mm Hg. There are several causes of this situation. A lot of hypertensives have undiagnosed or diagnosed but not treated hypertension. The other major reasons are non-adherence, the lack of combination treatment, and the lack of diuretic. The paper discusses the potential benefit provided by the fixed dose combination perindopril/indapamide in subjects with hypertension.
