摘要
The practice of graphic design is product of mass communication and the arguments supporting the design presented in some magazines of visual arts and design in Mexico, since 1970, is renowned for its readers. The cultural environment has been decisive in their design that defines the style of each magazine; which represents a form of expression and meaning of the pluralism and diversity of their contents. The approach to these magazines considers the changes that have occurred over the past thirty years in the process of production and reception of iconic messages, which now are studied from the same areas of the communication of culture where they were generated.
