INFLUENCE OF ALLOYING WITH VANADIUM, MODIFICATION, AND CASTING THICKNESS ON MICROSTRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF 45L STEEL

摘要
A study was made of the influence of alloying with vanadium, modification, and the wall thickness of the casting on the microstructure, strength, and fracture resistance of 45L steel. Alloying with vanadium reduces the influence of the scale factor on the mechanical properties of castings. Modification with alkaline and rare earth metals changes the form of the non-metallic inclusions in 45FL steel with 0.11% V and increases its brittle and ductile fracture resistance.
