The finite-size scaling of the spin and energy density correlation lengths is examined for an Ising model on a 128×L2 lattice, with L=4,6,8and10. The results are found to be consistent with a relationship of the form ξ L= A x (where ξ is the correlation length associated with the field with scaling dimension x) for antiperiodic but not for periodic boundary conditions on the L2 lattice. These Monte Carlo results confirm the findings of Henkel, who examined the model in its extreme anisotropic limit on smaller lattices. In addition, the value of A is determined to be 0.117(3). © 1990.
