ELECTRON-IMPACT EXCITATION OF N=2 STATES OF ATOMIC-HYDROGEN AT ENERGIES JUST ABOVE THE IONIZATION THRESHOLD

摘要
The scattering of electrons by atomic hydrogen is studied for incident electron energies 1.02, 1.10 and 1.21 Ryd by extending the 15-state R-matrix calculation of Pathak et al. Results are presented for n = 2 excitation, including differential cross sections and angular correlation parameters. Comparisons are made between the present calculation with the experiments and the most recent theoretical calculations.
