摘要：
Political changes in both East and West are likely to exercise a strong effect on developments in the European PM industry. Most of the former Eastern bloc is in the process of restructuring, while the industry in Western Europe is slowly emerging from recession. Activity in other regions outside America and the Far East is briefly reviewed.
