摘要
We show that two successive symmetry breakings can lead to the formation of hybrid topological defects in nonequilibrium systems. A phase-jump line with end points in two-dimensional periodic structures turns out to be a kind of hybrid topological defect. The dynamics of a hybrid defect is also discussed in a variational system.
