摘要
Glutathione level and glutathione reductase activity increase during dry storage at 20-degrees-C of dormant seeds of Hordeum vulgare, cv. Prisma. Changes in the glutathione system could be a crucial step of dormancy breakage. It is assumed that the glutathione system participates in the activation of the pentose phosphate pathway leading to dormancy breakage of barley seeds.
