Irkutsk's myth: V. Rasputin and A. Vampilov (problem of typological parallels)

This article discusses some typological parallels between reativity of Valentin Rasputin and of Alexandr Vampilov as a major part of "Irkutsk's myth" in the Siberian literature (for example, works of "Deadline", "Leave-taking to the Matera", "Eldest son", "Duck Hunt" and other). Materials involved in the various editions and plays of Alexander Vampilov. Particular attention is paid to the archetypal images of windows and doors, their philosophical and existential significance in the work of both writers.
