摘要：
A theoretical interpretation of the X-ray emission spectra of transition-metal compounds is described. While the late transition-metal compounds are interpreted by the charge-transfer effect, the early transition-metal compounds are interpreted by the exchange splittings due to the unpaired 3d electrons. However, we have a problem on the line shape of Kalpha2 which has not yet been solved.
