摘要
Unemployment is a social problem that affects all the economies, both in industrialized countries and those less developed. The plan or program intended to counteract this phenomenon depends on the type of existent unemployment, determined by using the Beveridge Curve, which is the methodology that allow establishing the cause of the fluctuations of unemployment, and is represented by a graphical relationship between unemployment and work vacancies, which is theoretically negative. This article shows the results of a literature review related to unemployment and Beveridge Curve. In different studies at international scale it has been found that in countries like Chile, Australia and Czech Republic the fluctuations in unemployment are produced by the behavior of the economic cycle, that is, a cyclic unemployment occurs.
