摘要：

This article discusses the consequences of the support for Charles of Habsburg by Luis Antonio Portocarrero, the 5th Count of Palma, during the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714). These consequences were, on the one hand, the temporary deprivation of property acquired in the State of Palma and, secondly, the brief exile in France and the restraining order of the court of Madrid, when the war ended with the victory of Philip of Bourbon.
