摘要
Advantages and disadvantages of measurement of saturated hydraulic conductivity on core samples are discussed. A design is presented which combines ease of handling, speed of procedure with relative safety in avoiding classical methodic shortcomings like mechanical and hydraulic shocks or bacterial growth. The necessity to use numerous replicate samples is discussed and some advantages which arise from the situation for the assessment of the results are discussed. In order to give examples, results obtained from four profiles of river marsh soils are shown and discussed.
