WHITHER ANIMAL TESTING IN BIOSENSOR RESEARCH

During the course of processing our papers for publication in B&B we sometimes receive polite refusals from referees against the use of testing on animals in the report. The debate as to whether we animal test or not has become very heated. In our Update section we feature a riposte from one of the ''legitimate'' health charities requesting a restoration of balance to the argument. Whilst I do not wish to encourage an ongoing debate in these pages, we cannot ignore the issue.
