摘要：
Solubilized system of acetazolamide with the aid of certain complexing agents viz. lysine and sodium salicylate and those prepared with a blend of non-ionic surfactant Tween 80 and polyethylene glycol 400 were subject for testing their drug bioavailability. The in-vivo testing was done using rabbits. The blood samples taken after drug administration in three tested formulations comparable with a control sample proved that the blend of Tween 80 with polyethylene glycol 400 enhanced the rate of acetazolamide absorption. The same finding held true for those solubilized systems containing lysine and sodium salicylate but to lower rates.
