摘要
This paper is a tool for the purpose to improve management duties by highway safety committee of some towns, especially those reporting high accident rates of motorcycles and pedestrians involved. Colombia shows most vulnerable individuals, particularly motorcycles during period 2005-2011, a decrease in accident rates. At the beginning, we perform a statistical analysis from figures by RUNT and Legal Medicine Institute to analyze the evolution of accident rates related to motorcycle fleet, then a theoretical reference will take the Strategic Road Safety Plan for motorcycles, in force in Spain in order to identify approaches or processes that can be followed by policies and/or action plans on road safety. Then a comparative exercise with some initiatives aimed at improving road safety identified by Ministry of Transportation; and finally, the relevant conclusions.
