摘要
The effect of inhomogeneous environmental broadening of resonance Raman excitation profiles of solute molecules is investigated. The role of diagonal and non-diagonal terms of scattering matrix is discussed. The theoretical consideration is illustrated by an analysis of the experimental data of Okamoto et al. tetradesmethyl-beta-carotene and of Ho et al. for all-trans beta-carotene in isopentane solution.
