Prospects of biogenic raw materials in the production of ceramics (review)

摘要：
The prospects of biogenic raw materials (silicon-containing, in particular) for the ceramic industry are analyzed. The substances involved in the reproduction cycle of living organisms (plants and animals) have internal energy that can be effectively used in the production of ceramic materials. The example of rice hulls and the products of their treatment is used to consider the special features of such products and the direction of scientific research in ?he field. Materials prepared with the use of biogenic waste inherit the structure of the initial particles, and the consumption of energy in their production is much lower than in the case of conventional raw materials.
