摘要：
A great majority of the organoiridium complexes, containing N-heterocycles reported so far are four-coordinate. Many of these are associated with either cyclic diolefins or CO. Nmr spectroscopy has been widely used for the structural elucidation of the complexes. In several of the cases, the mono-, bi- and polynuclear nature has been established by crystal structure studies. A few of the complexes have been shown to possess catalytic activity.
