摘要：
In this paper, we present open innovation, as a more and more widely used model to boost innovation and bussiness operation by both private and public organisations. For easier understanding of the open innovation model we present a comparison to the closed innovation model and explain the specifics of the individual models. Finally, we present two examples of open innovation, which are used in our environment.
