摘要：

This paper analyses the impact produced by new European legislation about data protection. It shall be studied some of the novelties that European Data Protection Regulation, (also known as General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) such as new Data Protection Officer, new Rights and Obligations, specially, the Right to oblivion, sanctions regime and the new legal framework of cross-border data transfer. And some references to the data protection in criminal matters and other relevant legislation.
