摘要
Nowadays, it is considered insufficient to describe exclusively to a coach as expert from the obtained results. The objective of the present article is to analyze the characteristics that have coaches expert in basketball, as well as the factors that have influence in the development of their skill. This qualitative investigation has been made from a biographical perspective, analyzing the vital itinerary of the coaches through a semistructured interview. The conclusions indicate that the process to get to be expert is a unique and individualized process. Although, is certain that, present common personal characteristics as they are the illusion to train, the commitment with their profession, desire to improve and the capacity to direct and to lead groups, besides to present some contextual factors that favour this commitment.
