摘要
In the present study 260 college students' self-concepts and perceived loving actions toward others were found to be significantly correlated (r = .66, p < .001), providing support for the idea offered by William Glasser (1984) that we are as we act. As counselors, teachers and other ancillary personnel learn of this relationship, and convey this knowledge to students, it is more likely that each, in turn, will adopt more positivistic approaches both behaviorally and attitudinally.
