摘要
Does effective human resource management practice matter to entrepreneurship? The literature suggests that people are critical to entrepreneurship, so the management of people, such as how to motivate them to innovate, becomes important. In this study, HRM's influence in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the firm's new product introduction was investigated through a survey of senior managers in 154 Chinese firms. An emphasis on strategic human resource management was found to facilitate new product introductions in an entrepreneurially-oriented firm, and a facilitating role was found to be more prominent in firms operating in more uncertain environments.
