摘要：
The article takes a fresh look at the ostracon from Qubur al-Walaydah. Based on the examination of a new drawing and photos of the inscription, some new readings are proposed. The discussion of the context shows that the inscription should be dated to the Iron Age IA Period (1200-1130 B.C.): The inscription has been written by "Canaanites" during the time of Egyptian domination that preceded the arrival of Philistine farmers to the village during the early Iron Age IB Period.
