Decision support in this context implies evaluating the effectiveness of different concepts for fast patrol boats in their primary role. The model addresses effectiveness issues at the tactical level, emphasizing a realistic and flexible representation of operations of a fast patrol boat squadron rather than individual boat operations. Main elements of the model are presented in some detail.
