The importance of this intangible resource lies not only in the cultural manifestation itself but in the body of knowledge and techniques passed down from generation to generation. It is based on the recognition by the communities, groups or individuals that create maintain and transmit. Diffusion is one of the three pillars of asset management. Its definition deserves a review in the light of new disciplines and communication strategies built in the last ten years. The contribution of three main lines of development of software to this fundamental pillar (Virtual Reality, GIS and web portals), tools and technologies most commonly used in these industries, as well as informatics systems developed from scientific research in the engineering degree in computer science of the University of Granma, as a result of an intentional work with management of Heritage and Culture in the province.
