摘要：
This work explores the demand for university courses on scientific visualization and makes general recommendations for the contents of such courses. While different course objectives, as listed in this paper, demand differences in the course outlines, at least some common denominator, such as definitions, goals and concepts of scientific visualization, should be found as part of any visualization course. The work described in this paper is partly based on results from a workshop held at Visualization '92 [1].
