摘要：
A method of testing joints made by resistance spot welding, applicable to standard equipment, was developed. The investigations were made on pendulum impact testers with the use of specially developed equipment including a device for fastening the weld specimens. The results of the two lots of specimens were statistically processed, making it possible to more clearly determine the impact strength. The use of welding with peening makes it possible to increase by 25 % the impact strength of joints made by contact spot welding.
