摘要：
The following issues have been discussed in the article: the sources of transport needs arising, the influence of transport on the economy efficiency, the influence of the infrastructure and other elements on the relationship between the economy and transport. The author emphasizes, that transport becomes the area where the mutual relationships between the economy, its requirements and its, not always positive, influence on the environment. appear. Simultaneously, transport determines the infrastructure development directions, influencing the directions of the whole economy.
