摘要
Airborne bistatic forward-looking synthetic aperture radar (ABFL-SAR) breaks through the limitations of the conventional monostatic SAR on the forward-looking imaging. However, an ABFL-SAR is faced with the severe 2-D coupling, owing to the mechanism of translational variability, which is especially obvious in the azimuth compression compared with the conventional monostatic SAR. In this article, we improve the nonlinear chirp scalling (NCS) algorithm on the basis of polynomial fitting for ABFL-SAR with the cross trajectory. Simulation results further validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
