摘要
Recordings of slow potentials and changes of steady level of the EEG in man during manual and mental tasks show that an increase in mental load (as determined by the difficulty of the task) is accompanied by an increase in negativity at midline electrodes. It is suggested that this negativity is due to cortical excitation that facilitates performance. © 1990.
