摘要：
Introduction: The vena cava inferior is involved in approximately 4% to 10% of patients with renal cell carcinoma and in 1% of cases the thrombus reaches the right atrium. Surgery is the most effective treatment for RCC. In patients with nonmetastatic RCC and inferior vena caval involvement 5-year survival rates ranging between 47% and 68% have been reported following complete surgical resection. We report a case of renal cell carcinoma with tumor thrombi extending into right atrium treated by right radical nephrectomy with vena caval thrombectomy via cardiopulmonary bypass, and cardiac arrest.
