摘要
The kieserite-type selenates Me(II)SeO4.H2O (Me = Mg, Mn, Co, Ni, Zn) were prepared under hydrothermal conditions, and their crystal structures were investigated and refined in space group C2/c using single crystal X-ray data. The stereochemical details in this group vary in analogy to the corresponding sulfates; like in the sulfates, the Mg compound shows a slightly different behaviour compared to the transition metal selenates with similar Me(II) cation size.
