The structure and ways of women's naming in old Novgorod (by means of proper, calendar or noncalendar names, or by name of a husband), nomination characteristics underlying apocryphal women 's names as well anthroponyms functioning (both canonical, and noncanonical; not only female but also male - as the generating basis for female name) as are examined in detail in the article.
