摘要：
This paper reviews different types of virtual campuses through the last years and attempts to draw, from various reports, its evolution in the Spanish universities. Moreover, considering the elements of a virtual campus, a model is offered from an evolutionary perspective. Finally, several reports on trends in the educational use of ICT are analyzed and its direct impact on online teaching.
