摘要
A global-local approach is proposed to solve dynamic problems involving truss beams. A continuum Timoshenko beam used to model sections of truss beams wherever possible. (The continuum model was not adequate near applied loads, and detailed truss finite elements [discrete model] were employed.) This approach was also proven efficient for an odd-shaped truss structure connected to a truss beam. © 1990 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc., All rights reserved.
