摘要
Using the established optical methods of frozen stress photoelasticity and moire interferometry, the author and his colleagues, by introducing some standard refinements, demonstrate how useful information has been gleaned from complex three-dimensional problems both for approximate validation of three-dimensional numerical fracture analyses and as precursor to such analytical formulations.
